Rezang La, also known as Rechin La is one of the most important place in India with Ladakh and Tiber border in the east of Ladakh. It is Line of Actual Control between Indian-administered Ladakh and the Chinese-administered Spanggur Lake.

About 3 km northwest of Rechin La that is the site of a major battle of the 1962 Indian – China War. War hero Major Shaitan Singh fought the battle to last man to blook the Chinees troops supposed to capture Chushul and its territory.

Approx. less than2 hour drive from Man to Chushul village worth visiting to this holy site where you can visit the 1962 War memorial and witness the bravery of our great solders who sacrifice their life to save this country from Chinese

Eyes get wet when you pay your respects to the brave 114 army personnel who killed 1400 Chinese warriors and laid down their lives very happily for their country. I am sure most of us no nothing about this great battle / bravery / sacrifice / dedication and proud of our own people which we might have read on our text books or any other.
